Choose the Detrack plan that matches your route requirements
The distinction between Pro and Advanced matters if planning is central to the purchase. Use the published plan table and confirm any additional services you need before comparing a quote with Drive It. [1]
Count drivers separately from office access, preserve the supplier’s displayed currency, and check tax and billing commitments. A lower headline software price does not by itself establish the better fit for your business.
Make delivery evidence useful after the driver leaves
A photo is useful when you can identify the booking and understand the handover. Test a normal stop, an unsuccessful attempt and a delivery with specific recipient instructions. Then retrieve each record using the customer’s reference.
Drive It keeps evidence in the own-job workflow so you have a clear place to review the outcome. Check the record rather than assuming a location near the address means the handover was completed.
Test a weak-signal stop before moving your workload
Detrack explicitly describes offline operation for its ePOD app. If your rounds include poor coverage, demonstrate capture, reconnection and the appearance of the final record in the office. [2]
Apply the same practical test to any proposed setup. Record what happens when a connection is interrupted and confirm when the upload is complete. This guide does not assert equivalent offline behaviour for Drive It.
Separate the value of software from the value of additional work
Use the jobs you already have to judge whether the tools are useful at the full ongoing price. Additional work must still fit your vehicle, area, hours and margin.
Drive It offers access to eligible Deliverate opportunities alongside direct work. Treat those as opportunities to review, rather than income assumed to cover the subscription.
